Navy apprehends 23 Indian Fishermen for Intrusion into Sri Lankan Waters

Naval patrol craft attached to the North-central Naval Command apprehended 05 Indian trawlers with 23 Indian fishermen onboard for intruding into Sri Lankan waters off Mannar on 22nd July 2012. The apprehended boats are anchored off Thalai-mannar Naval Base and the crew was handed over to Thalai-mannar Police for legal action.
