The FAC Squadron Pin is awarded to Naval personnel on temporary and permanent basis under following conditions:

Temporary Award

Following Naval personnel are eligible.

* Commanding Officer (FAF 4), Squadron Commanders & Training Commander.

* All officers/sailors who are attached to FACs.

* All officers/sailors who are attached to FAF4 training team.

* Any officer/sailor who is attached to FAF 4 Staff and recommended by Commanding Officer (FAF 4)

Permanent Award

The FAC Squadron Pin is awarded to Naval personnel under the following conditions.

* Who have served at least considerable 01 year period on board operational FACs..

* Any officer/sailor who is injured onboard an FAC in action and is unable to serve continuously FACs due to the same injuries. Then his service period is not considered.

How to wear

The FAC Squadron Pin should be worn in the centre of left pocket and 0.25 inches above the colour bar.

The Surface Warfare Badge is awarded to Naval personnel who have served at least 04 years onboard ships/craft with following conditions.

For Officers

* Consider the basic training period onboard ships/craft.

* Minimum length of the service is 06 years.

* Should be promoted at least to the rank of Lieutenant except service entry officers.

For Sailors

* Minimum length of the service is 06 years./p>

* Should be advanced at least to the rate of Leading Seaman.

How to wear

The Surface Warfare Badge should be worn in the centre of left pocket and 0.25 inches above the colour bar.

The Artificer Badge is issued to all Artificer Branch sailors who got advanced up to Artificer IV rate or get enlisted Artificer IV and above rates.

How to wear

The Artificer Badge should be worn in the centre of left pocket and 0.25 inches below the top level.

The Commendation Badge is issued to Naval personnel who have awarded Letters of Commendation from the Commander of the Navy. The number of letters is indicated with the badge including stars.

The Commendation Badge should be worn in centre of left pocket and 0.25 inches below the top of the pocket.

All officers/sailors who are qualified as Divers are eligible to wear the Diving Badge. Further, all Naval personnel who are attached to the diving branch are eligible to wear the Diving Badge.

The Diving Badge should be worn in the centre of right pocket and 0.25 inches above the top level of the name tally.

Any Naval personnel who completed at least three month Bomb Disposal Course could wear the Bomb Disposal Badge with his uniform.

The Bomb Disposal Badge should be worn in the centre of right pocket and 0.25 inches above the top level of the name tally.

The officer/sailor will be eligible to wear the Para Badge on successfully completion of basic Para Course. Further he should complete five Para jumps including a night jump.

The Para Badge should be worn in the centre of right pocket and 0.25 inches above the top level of the name tally.

The officer/sailor will be eligible to wear the Special Boat Squadron Badge on successfully completion of basic Special Boat Squadron Course.

All Naval Provost Branch officers will be eligible to wear the Naval Provost Badge.

The Naval Provost Badge should be worn in the centre of the right pocket and 0.25 inches above the top level of the name tally.

All Naval Gunnery Instructor Branch sailors will be eligible to wear the Naval Gunnery Instructor Badge.

All Naval Drill Instructor Branch sailors will be eligible to wear the Naval Drill Instructor Badge.

All Naval Intelligent Branch officers & sailors will be eligible to wear the Naval Intelligent Badge.

The Naval intelligent Badge should be worn in the centre of the right pocket and 0.5 inches above the top level of the name tally.

Naval Officers & Sailors who are engaged with Instructor duties are eligible to wear Naval Instructor Badge.

Naval Officers & Sailors who are in Naval Marine are eligible to wear Marine Insignia.
