Producing Bio Gases

Methane, Carbondioxide , Carbonmonoxide and Hydrogen Sulfide mixed gas, which are released by decomposing Methane, Carbondioxide organic fragments, are called Bio(natural) gases. Since Methane and Carbondioxide cause to increase the global temperature, producing bio gas by systematical and scientific disposal of garbage is eco friendly. Accordingly, Sri Lanka Navy established a Bio Gas unit at Trincomalee on 10th March 2010.
